Cary helps the very wealthy and famous business man James Osborne find Catherine Connolly, the woman he left at the alter when he was put in jail for two weeks two days before their wedding. Cary eventually finds Catherine, but finds out she is married. Even though he warns Osborne to keep his distance, Cary must try to keep Osborne from revealing his identity to Catherine.
