Four years before, Cary and
Kate saw Sara's wedding announcement in the paper while they
were on their second honeymoon in Acapulco. It was the same day
Kate's doctor called with the test results.
Cary flew Sara out to Catalina
Island on his jet.
At the end of the show, Cary
told Daisy is was time for him to cut loose from the past and
that he was going to give Kate's things away to charity.
Sara: Who are you?
Cary: Someone who has been looking for
you ... that's my line of work. I find people who are especially
missed.
Daisy: Did you love Sara?
Cary: I felt able to love again. It was
that feeling I loved. (He smiles and softly laughs.) I went a
little overboard, didn't I?
Daisy: (Smiles.) A little too involved.
Cary: With some people, it's hard to draw
the line. You want to relate to them one way, but you feel another.
It takes such control.
Daisy: I know just what you mean.
Cary: But if I ever take anyone info my
home again, even for a week ... will you put your foot down?
Daisy: (Smiles again.) Both feet.
