Quotes

(After Brian has used a contact to track down some info on Richard Foster, the person Daisy is looking for ... )
Rita: Nice work, Brian. I'm sure Daisy will be glad for the lead. She really wants to help this lady.
Brian: Have you ever met anybody Daisy doesn't want to help?

(Cary is out on the patio and has just said goodbye to his client after telling him he has located his daughter. Fletcher appears at Daisy's door ... )
Brian: Pine Ridge is a small town near Santa Barbara.
(Cary turns to him.)
Cary: You eversdropping again, Fletcher?
Brian: (Smiles.) Well ... I like to think of it as a keen sense of hearing.
(Cary returns his smile.)

Rita: (To Brian.) Come on, hot shot ... you've got another lady to take care of. Or are you reneging on taking me to lunch?
Brian: Oh, not on your life. Let me just get the extra helmet for my bike ...
(Rita laughs and takes him by the arm.)
Rita: We'll walk, thank you.

(Back at the office after both cases are wrapped up.)
Daisy: You know, I have to tell you something.
Cary: What?
Daisy: You had me worried. I don't like you mixing around with murderers.
Cary: Why? They're such a charming breed. (Daisy looks at him skeptically and frowns. He smiles and strokes her cheek.) Hey, thanks for worrying about me.
Daisy: Well, it's a tough job ... but somebody's gotta do it.
