Cary remembers the inscription
on his wedding band and it prompts him to ask about the ring
William is wearing. There is an inscription there and Cary uses
it to track down the jeweler in Tuscon where it was done, also
giving Cary William's address and his wife's name.
When Cary returns to the
office and finds out there is another client waiting....
Rita: The poor woman
is desperate
Cary: All right ... what time does she
want come in?
Brian: She's waiting on the patio.
Cary: Now? (Brian and Rita nod.) What
if I had refused?
Rita: (Smiles.) Then you wouldn't be Cary
Maxwell.
