During the show ...

Before transferring to the Paris run, Cary used to fly out of Tokyo and that's where he met Thad, Mike, and Beth.

Mike, Thad, and Cary pledged to always be there for each other after a crash landing in Singapore.

Beth and Mike broke up 12 years before the story took place, about the same time Cary decided to transfer to a Paris run.

Quotes

Thad: People ask me how I got to be the way I am, I tell 'em ... flying co-pilot for Cary Maxwell.
Cary: Mmmm, thank you for ruining my reputation.
Thad: Just trying to preserve your legendary status.

Thad: Hey, it's me ... your old buddy. Save that romantic slop for your clients.
Cary: And if I want cynical slop, I'll know where to find it.

When she first locates Linda ...
Daisy:
Hi, do you live here?
Linda: Who wants to know?
Daisy: Oh, I'm sorry ... I'm Daisy Lloyd from Maxwell Limited. We find people that other people have lost touch with.
Linda: How quaint.
Daisy: (Smiles.) Well, it sounded a lot better than law school.

On the phone, talking about Vicki Selman ...
Cary:
You'll find her.
Daisy: What makes you so sure?
Cary: Because I have a lot of faith in you.
Daisy: (Laughs.) That's one thing about you I'll never understand.
